I’m going back to Kuching on Wednesday! 
Reason No.1 being the Rainforest Music Festival this weekend. Reason No.2, to visit my old friends and reason no.3, to eat and eat and eat!!
I’ve lived in Kuching all my life but this is going to be my first visit to the Rainforest Music Festival. I know…fail right…
My friends and I are only planning to go for a day, not sure which day yet, most probably Saturday, just to have a look see, so all you guys going, gimme a call and we can all party together Borneo style!!
On a different note, I received an email recently which reads like below. Very funny and very true!! In most jobs, if you know how to bullshit ‘smartly’, you can get away with anything!
This is strictly from a mathematical viewpoint…

So, one can conclude with mathematical certainty that while Hard Work and Knowledge will get you close, and
Attitude will get you there, it’s the Bullshit and Ass Kissing that will put you over the top.

I think it’s quite an enlightening idea…a very fressh point of view BUT actually it sounds as if it applies more if you’re climbing up the ladder, sucking up to the boss, whatever you may call it, the fastest way to the top! Not exactly the same as working your socks off and under difficult circumstances and yet still come out on top….that’s giving it 101% tops 😉

Oh my god. I will be going to Kuching too on Wednesday 🙂 My bf is from Kuching so I will be visiting his family as well :p This year is the 10th anniversary of Rainforest Festival so it’s gonna be big. Hope I can recognize you in person hehe. Can’t wait 😀
i also fail 😛 never been to the festival either – but there’s so much more to do down town! (eat lots of tomato kueh tiaw and gubak mee for me!
