Bangkok Work-Break

Taking a break from the back to back wedding posts. 🙂

I was away in Bangkok last week for an Olay White Radiance commercial shoot. It was supposed to be a 2 full day shoot but in the end, we managed to finish the shoot in 2 half-days, so with the free time I had, I did what most girls would do in Bangkok…I went shopping!!

My finds….all for less than RM2000! Clockwise: From Siam Square, MBK,  Suan Lum Night Bazaar & Platinum Wholesale Mall. 🙂

Getting a quick facial before hair and makeup

The production crew here are so efficient. They have so many people working that laying tracks for the camera dolly took only like 2 seconds, it was as quick as an F1 Pit Stop.

Hahaha…..Fake Natural Laugh… My expertise. ;P

I got to keep the wardrobe they custom-made for me!! (Not the shoes though) 🙁 Now I just need a real white Chanel 2.55 flap bag to go with it! hehehe…

After the shoot on the 2nd day, Geetha (my agent from Talent Factory) and I went to Lebua at State Tower to check out the Sky Bar.

While we were there, the Thais celebrated ‘Loy Krathong‘ or the Festival of Light. So at 10pm, the skies were filled with fireworks and we had the best view from the rooftop of the State Tower!

Back in KL, last Friday, I was invited to 2 events. First one was the launch of theBalm cosmetics at Mid Valley, then the Eclipse Spring/Summer 2010 show at MIFW in Pavilion. I don’t have many pictures, but I was wearing an Eclipse dress designed by the very beautiful, Daphne Iking for Eclipse. And had my makeup done by theBalm makeup artist from the US. I don’t normally wear contact lenses but I had some Focus Point vouchers so I redeemed a pair of Grey FreshLook lenses to wear for fun. Do I look any different? 🙂

With some Parkson vouchers in hand (a gift from Aishah, Tania and Rina for my wedding….yes, I do get a lot of vouchers and buy a lot of things with gift vouchers.. ) I went and got myself a pair of Fit Flop. It claims to give you a workout while you walk!! Even Oprah approves of it! It feels really comfortable so far, I guess we’ll have to see if I can tone my legs and butt in just a couple of weeks by walking in these! 🙂
