Shopping + Christmas + Y.E.S. = Free Holiday!!

I was emceeing an event at Mid Valley Megamall last Saturday and boy, let me tell you …. with Christmas around the corner and everyone’s scurrying around to buy gifts and also the Year End Sale happening, the place was extremely packed! It was soooo hard to find parking – I valet my car and had to wait almost half an hour for it to be returned back to me – every shop was jammed packed with people, and well, it was crazy! I hear the same story in malls in KL as well as the malls here in PJ. Some people actually go to the malls as early as 10 am, even before all the shops open just to have easy excess to parking!

So here’s a little suggestion to all you people wanting to shop but want to skip the jam and the crowd. Why not drive a little further to our nation’s administrative capital and shop at Alamanda Shopping Centre in Putrajaya!! And there’s no better time than now to shop at Alamanda because from now till 27th December, if you spend RM800 and above in accumulated receipts in a day, you get to win a Free 8-Day Beach Holiday!!

Lest you think Alamanda is an outskirts mall with limited stores and nothing to buy, think again!! Parkson, Carrefour Hypermarket and Cold Storage Supermarket are the main tenants there, besides that, there is also a GSC cineplex, a bowling centre, a games arcade, lots of F&B outlets e.g. Sushi King, Manhattan Fish Market, Old Town Kopitiam, Penang Village, Starbucks etc. and a great mix of retail stores carrying brand names like Aldo, Espirit (I hear the Espirit store here is a factory outlet!), Guess, Billabong, Nichii, Nike, Levi’s, LeSportSac, Elainto, Watson’s and Sasa, the list goes on….. I didn’t get to walk around much back then during my photoshoot, but next week, I’ll be going there on a media visit with a couple of other bloggers and I’m all ready with a lists of things to buy so I can get christmas presents for my family and friends and redeem the free holiday while I’m at it!
